The City of Flatwoods has contracted a new sanitation company, AllTech. Alltech can be reached at (606)-473-0672. In order to ensure timely pick-up, please put your cans at the curb the night prior to your pick-up day.

New sanitation regulation summary for residential customers:
Garbage must be in a tied plastic bag and placed into a minimum 30 gallon durable plastic garbage can with a lid. Garbage may not be set out any earlier than 5PM on the day prior to pick-up and must be retreived from the curb no later than 10PM the evening of pick-up. Garbage "corrals" are no longer permitted next to the roadway. "Corrals" may be erected within 5ft of the residence. Large items that will not fit into a can must be neatly stacked next to cans. Any garbage that escapes from a garbage can is the responsibility of the garbage owner and must be picked up immediately upon discovery by the owner or notification by a city official.
